Yeh --that connector has outlived it's usefullness for contemporary models
Few seem to remember the dreaded " black" wires -- I found some -- and the fact that servo abilities were typically in the order of 40 in ounces of torque--
The new Spektrum "rx" which has a large direct battery connector and an internal contact is quite a step up in the necessary evolution- for high power consumption models .
