An interesting point about the CG. In post #8 above are pics of my taping everything in place to make sure the CG would be close. It was. Then after final assembly, the airplane was very tail heavy. I couldn't understand how I could have screwed up so badly. I planned to install about 5oz os lead weight to the nose to correct this when I notice this instruction in the assembly manual. Balance the airplane at the main spar next to the fuselage not at the wingtips. You will notice that in the above pics in post #8 the plane is balanced at the fuse. When I had finished the plane, I lifted it at the spar but at the wingtips. Even though it appears this is a straight wing, it must be a little off perpendicular to the fuse and must be balanced at the fuse and not the wingtips.
