Did you ever get that light kit from ebay you ordered Druss? I was waiting for your input before buying some for myself. That looked like a good setup for one of the blade CP's. I am going with Radio Shack for straight LED's and resistors. Found a website that pretty much deciphers all the lectronic mumbo jumbo and gives yu a good idea of what lights can be used as well as which doohickeys to buy to keep em from blowing up. http://www.theledlight.com/ledcircuits.html
On the searchlite note: I ended up buying one of those car kit setups..... 2 whitel leds for headlights and 2 reds for brake lights. I just wasn't happy with the brightness so ended up getting a set of Traxxas shock mounts and used the top caps to make my own searchlite. Drilled a hole in it and inserted the led, checked the fit, then painted it with chrome paint and CA'd the led in. It isn't a direct spot......but a large flood and works quite well. I mounted a HS55 under the 4 in 1 on a CX2 and mounted the "spotlite" on the servo horn and control it off the extra channel. Moves up and down and actually works fairly well........ but not as sweet as that spotlite you have. Durnity man, yer makin me jealous!
Got any photos of it mate?
