I would go with the F-16 as trainer all the way. It is very nice looking warbird and a great trainer, very forgiving. My opinion is that I would not waste my time with a trainer sport plane. The trainer may give you a false sense of security. Good luck.

That's good news for me as I just ordered the F-16 as my first turbine. They must be selling quite a few as the ship date isn't till mid March for mine...but what the hay...it's ordered and I'm happy!
