This is my version of classic pattern pay it forwards. I have received plans for the Curare and Aurora so to pay this forward to everyone (as well as paying back) I have had my plans for the MK Beetle scanned. I have put them up for everyone to download at their own pace on a file sharing site. The site I have them on is free for anyone to download with no join up. The files will be available for as many downloads as you like so long as I log in once every 30 days. If they aren't there just give me a PM and I will put them back up.

I had my plans scanned by a friend of a friend etc and they scanned them in colour at 600DPI so the original file was around 400MB I have a version that is made black and white and in PDF form that is a more manageable 150MB and split into two pieces. You will need to download both pieces to the same directory and then use winzip to unsplit them by double clicking on the file with the .zip extension. The other option is to download the low res verison thanks to rainedave's photoshop work.

I would like to think that others will follow suit and put their scanned plans up too. The great thing about scanning the plans is you don't have to worry about getting stuck with copies that people have asked for but haven't paid for. Also these classic planes are getting a bit rare and once the plans are gone they won't come back. If lots of people have digital copies then the plans should not get lost forever.
