I got this same truck and put the tazer ESC but it is the one that only handles 7.2 volts only, and I got a 19t Dragon motor. It runs pretty nice the stock motor and ESC that come with this truck are garbage and burnt out real fast. I bought the Duratrax 7.2v 3600maH battery and it gives it a lot more power
