I am not sure if this is the correct forum, but here it goes.

There is a set of plans for a plane that I would like to build, but the plans are for control line.

Has anyone converted a control line plane to rc?

The model I am speaking of has a 48" span is 31" long and requires a .40 engine.

Why do control line planes seem to require a larger engine than a rc plane? Extra drag from the wires?

Any Suggestions are welcome.
