Not to start a heated conversation here, but as I read other messages it seems that this G4 is used more as a toy than to improve actual flying skills. Not that I'm into "toys" but when someone says they have a flight simulator I would expect one to produce actual simulation of a takeoff or landing. True there are many planes offered on the G4 menu, some are hot rods and others are slow flyers, but all of the planes in the same catorgary behave relative the same on the simulator. I could care what the color is or the "smoke" or streamers of the aircraft, not that it's a nice feature but in learning to fly I think the simulator falls short. But what do you want for $200.00 bucks, this is not NASA stuff. I don't think asking for touque issues on takeoff is asking too much, if I can produce a cross wind on the sim I wouldn't think torque would be an issue. Can anyone out there tell me if this is an option on the G4 for certain flight characteristics?
Crosswinds... yes. I am unclear what else you are asking. Most people use G4 as more than a toy, your perception is a little bit skewed based on the posts. We are testing the limits of the simulator what is new, and what is fun. You cannot believe that people only use a simulator to practice flying skills only? After 30 minutes it is human nature to experiment and see, hmm what happens iff.... Better on a compute rprogram than our real plane. G4 is the most advanced airplane simulator (I believe others replicate helis better) so take it for what it is wort, no need to point out its downfalls, no one is making you buy it
