What Da Smak said. Use WD-40 to get rid of moisture and then use ARO (ATF oil works just as well).
There's nothing more to it.
I never mentioned using WD-40, nor would I, unless it was a really mucky track and I was spraying it over the chassis to make it easier to clean after racing.
