foxy42, it's always an education from you You did indeed anticipate my follow-up question about upgrading servos. I suppose we newbs are very predictable I settled on a five cell, 1500 Mah pack. I have yet to race with it, but I do notice that that the steering seems to have a bit more 'oomph' when I turn the wheels at a standstill. If I understand you right, steering speed/power is a function of both the receiver battery strength and the torque rating of the servo? Is a steering servo upgrade more suited to competitive racers? I just race around by myself in a big parking lot. Someday I may try driving for fun on a racetrack, though.
