Default Servo consumption

Hello All,

Well I am getting close. I have set up my Raptor 50 according to all I have read on this and other sites. Once agian thanks for all the help along the way. I am using 8717 servos for all five controls. I have checked to see that all linkages were free moving and I used a Hanger 9 amp meter to measure my current draw. I am wondering if anyone else has done this with these servos? They seem to buzz a bit when first turned on but after reading a few posts I am led to believe this is normal.

The current draw for my installation is as follows using full movement of the control surfaces:

Stationary no movement - .20 - .25 amp
Throttle and collective - .65 - .70 amp
Rudder - .59 -.67 amp
Airelons - .48 - .62 amp
Elevevator - .48 -.56 amp

Now I am using a 4.8 volt 2700mah NiMh as per LHS suggestion.

Does this sound around the norm?

Thanks
