Default RE: Seagull Models Yak 54 1.20

Just got your msge. been out of pocket for a while today. This is the .90 to 1.20 or 20cc gas version that has been discussed on the forum. Ichose the Zenoah 20 cc gas engine, mainly for the economics (fuel consumption). I have a Twist 150 in which I am using a Saito 1.50 four stroke, and it is a fuel hog. I just layed away a Goldberg Monster Pitts and my local hobby shop today. Iwill start on in in the spring. Very nice looking plane, but it may be a "monster" to fly. I seem to be partial to discontinued planes, for some reason lol. Just wondering if anyone is using my same set-up for the Yak (G20 engine, stock ignition) I am using NMH 1500 batteries for both ign. and receiver. I will just have to put ignition battery on charge between about every two flights, according to those who have had experience with the stock ignition draining batteries at a high rate. I balanced my Yak at 5 1/2 in. from leading edge at the wing root, just behind the wing tube.
