After 12 flights with the Single Pod, I decided to fly the Diablo with the Dual Pod. Oh No. Bad news. The added thrust did not make up for the added weight. The plane was nice slow and flat with the Single Pod, but bad slow and porpoising like crazy with the Dual Pod. Had to max out the down elevator trim to get it to fly. The Dual Pod added more weight to the tail. It flys just as slow. I had to fight the plane to get it back to the field. I am pulling the Dual and re-installing the Single Pod. At least it flys with the Single. I may try going brushless on the Single.
