Default RE: Cost/benefit of upgrading receiver pack

'That's another advantage of having a radio you can set the servo end points on, as you can then tell the servo to only pull exactly enough to stop the car. The extra effort which the servo needs to try continuously to move past a point which it cannot (full brake lock), causes the current draw to increase exponentially.'

How can I tell where the maximum point for braking is? Put the car on blocks, accelerate and then hit the brakes to see how much upward pressing on the trigger is needed to stop the car?

One thing that I don't like about my controller is that you can only turn the wheel a little bit in both directions. And when I try to steer, it seems like even small turns on the wheel result in large movements of the tires. No matter how precise I try to turn the wheel, my vehicle invariably turns very choppy.
