Default RE: Losing The Experts and Their Knowledge

ORIGINAL: Flyer Freq

Your post preceeded mine just briefly. I have been writing in a forum with AL for a while, and know that his last post has been removed. It had no political content at all. Not looking for trouble, but it was a helpful post to a newbie. I hope you will be returning his post as your post has said.
It doesn't work like that.

I ONLY moderate in this forum. I work in Gas Engines, Glow Engines, Conversion Engines, Fuel etc...

I can't do a darn thing to restore his posts in the AMA forum, Beginners forum, Giant Scale forum--or ANY other forum on this board. I can't even see if his post was deleted or edited in another forum. We don't have broad sweeping power in ALL forums. We are each given one or two SPECIFIC forums where we can edit, delete, or move posts and content. Outside of that particular forum--we are just another user--just like you.

Community moderators (higher on the pay scale--which ain't much, because not a one of us makes a penny doing this.) can work multiple forums and see a lot more than a "forum specific" moderator like me. I have no clue what goes on and who gets deleted or approved or edited in any other forums. I ONLY work the engines forums.
