Default 6 Years To Fix A Tiger

My story begins a little more than six years ago with my first Tamiya Tiger.

The recoil never worked, it would continue to cycle the full reload time till ready to fire.

Well, to shorten the story it was not the recoil mechanism switch or mechanism gears or motor or the wires or the MF or the programming...

In the process of fixing it I burned up one MF and partially damaged two others THAT'S over 700 dollars!

So what finally fixed it?

Well wouldn't you know one of the small resistors on the motor can leads was soldered to the wrong terminal! I only found this out when comparing two Tigers with both tops open side by side.

Re-soldered the resistor to the RIGHT terminal and works like a charm.

I would have never figured this sort of error would get past Tamiya QC, but its fixed now after 700 dollars and 6 years, Ye Ha!
