ORIGINAL: josh*********

Got my first two flights in today with my evolution 26gt2 its running great and never missed a beat . It rely flys my sig cap 231 Great !!!!

I'm using a 16x8 apc prop !! with mobil 2t synthetic oil mixed at 32:1

heard the evolution oil was no good and this stuff was the ticket!!!

I have been using either Pennsoil air cooled two stroke oil or Zenoah oil which is 100% synthetic in my SuperTigre 51 project. I have to run it at 15:1 fuel to oil because it has no bearings on the rod. About a week ago I bought a quart of Mobil 2T synthetic and mixed up a quart for my little ST. With over 15 flights on Pennz/Zenoah the plug looked virtually like new. (Just a little dark brown color on the center elec.) The top of the piston was as pretty and shiny as the day it was new. I have run the Mobil 2T for a total of four flights now and the plug has a noticeable amount of hard jet black carbon of the ground electrode. The center elec. is still brown as before. The troubling part to me is the piston now has several areas completely covered by black carbon. I think I am going back to the Zenoah oil. Maybe it's doing that because I am running the ratio at 15:1 but it sure ran clean with the Zenoah oil. (Ran very clean on the Pennz as well.)

I just mentioned this so you could watch yours and see if you notice any unusual carbon buildup. Good luck with the EVO.
