Default RE: The Tango 40 ARF from Hangar 9

sunday i was out at the rc club with the tango it was a good day to fly we had a little wind blowing it wa 8 am and the pit only had one other person there i bumped the motor over with the starter and it was running i took it of the starting block and set it on the groung and rolled out to the run way and YELLED TAKEING OFF the guy in the pitts said clear i putt a 1/4 throttle and the tail lifted and soon <15 foot> the wheel were dangleing in the grass and the motor thunmped off slow rpm's i moved the throttle to 1/2 and went stright up a good ways up and nosed it overtill it went past down and on to upside down then flipped it over thats when i seen a black pice fall off i was puzzeled and was trying to watch both when the guy in the pitt said what is that i said can you see were its going to fall yes he replyed i did a slow low pass to see what was missing the right wheel and shaft was missing i was puzzled again should i land now or fly a little longer as thought of the landing gear diging into the ground and ripping the plane into parts were flashing in my mind the guy in the pitts yelled on the run way and soon i was hearing i found your wheel and shaft and lock down collar < cont>
