Default RE: gas fuel with glo plug no ignition

Hi folks, "contrary to reports of my demise I am still alive". I have had some events that slowed my experiments down, and then cold weather set in here in Colorado, and ordering synthetic oil through the LHS has been unsuccessful, but I am going to try some Fireball Hot glow plugs from foamcut next with E85 and 12% synthetic oil, then try 1 part 15/15 glow and 2 parts E85 plus 7% more oil and report my results. My goal is a replacement fuel for my helicopter, a Raptor 50 with OS 50 engine. That will have to be a very reliable combination. One thing to bear in mind about my experiements is that I am at 6800' MSL ! It's possible that I require carb modifications and fuel mixtures that are not necessary at lower elevations, and vice versa. In the meantime, enjoy this picture of me at the American Idol auditions.
