I have a VXL in my evader. I love it. This is my first brushless sytem. I was going to get the mamba, but the price of the VXL, and that you can use different motors is why I went with it. I know some say the Mamba is faster, and it might be, but danng I do not need any faster than it is now. I plan to do some racing locally and any more speed it would not be fun. A friend of mine also got the VXL for his pede, and had it a week and the solder connections came loose at the ESC. He sent his back to Traxxas.
