Hi there my name is Sean, I just purchased the exact plane you have so I dont have an answer for you in regards to the issues you are having. However I see you are using a OS 46 fx and I am curious if that is what they recommend using to get this bird off the ground? I bought this bird for 50.00 completely assembled, not a bad deal I thought. I dont have an engine or radios for it yet.
