Default First Crash....need help

Hey all,

Well I finally got her out to a field today...but it was windy. Not too windy but windy enough for me since I haven't flow in the wind yet....maybe around 10-15mph. Anyway, I took it up to a nice hover, then started some figure 8's but I was fighting the wind so much...and nerves that it got too far away from me and I lost orientation. The blades slammed the ground and it looked like an explosion! LOL, but from 1st appearance, it looked like only the flybar was bend and a broken tail blade and main blades. After replacing those, I found out the main shaft was bent. So I replaced that as well and checked the feathering shaft...it was fine. Spooled her up and a very strange sound....real high pitched and sounded ...well much faster than usual. After over an hour of rechecking everything, I can't see anythingn bent and all looks ok to the eye.

The one and only thing I notice different since the crash is that when I rotate the cyclic stick clockwise (with a receiver battery plugged into rcvr), it actually turns the head and rotors. This doesn't happend if I rotate it clockwise. So SOMETHING is grabbing the main shaft enough to make it turn?

Any ideas what could be causing this? I really want to fly tomorrow morning!

Thanks,
Skarn
