Like aeropal says, I think you'll find with a search that I've said this before in previous messages but yes, a USB (Tx to joystick) interface that works with FMS also works with Pre-Flight (I've got the USB-JSIM from www.rc-electronics.co.uk) the only "odd" thing is that while FMS sees the usual sticks on channels 1,2,3,4 for some reason Pre-flight sees 1,2,6,7 so you probably need to change its 3,4 settings to 6,7
