The holes are probably intended for you to use grub screws to retain the pins. Toe-in would suggest the arms are shorter than stockers, but you should be able to counteract most of that by shortening the turnbuckles...

Good luck with the alum arms, i just hope that a big crash doesn't pass the stress onto other parts which will be harder to switch out...
