I assume the 570 on the E-F description implies a 570 kv motor. IF I remember my what my measurements were correctly. On the 15X8 APC in 40 plus degree F temps it puts out about 1000ish W. Draws about 60 Amps and turns the 15X8 around 7700 to 7800 rpm. All static of course on a fresh charge. I forgot what my measurements were with the 14X8.5. It flew the E-F Extra 300 with authority. Typical flights were safely in the 8 to 9 minutes range. I wish I didn't wreck the Extra. The next thing I was going to try was the new E-F 80 amp controller to save some weight. I was using a CC 85HV in the Extra.

Well, based on the measurement provided, I will need to add about 5/8" of offset to move the motor out to where it needs to be. The Torque X-mount aligns with the mounting holes provided perfectly.
You know, that sounds good after all, if it's 570 rpm/v, usually that high an RPM doesn't give adequate overhead amp-wise, but cleary that one says it can take 80 amps. I am curious about the size, adding 5/8" seems like the motor must be awful small, is it really shorter then a hacker A50 16S by 5/8"? Also, since it is shorter, you have the option of simply moving the cowl back, no harm (though watch the conopy clearance for removal)...
