Default RE: Angel S EVO Build Thread

ORIGINAL: J Lachowski

Just doing some preliminary fitting, I noticed that the cowl has a very tight fit. Question I have is, does the cowl fit over the canopy front lip, butted against it or underneath? It appears to be over the top of the canopy front lip in the manual. How much of an overlap should there roughly be? With such a tight fit, I am wondering whether there will be any issues putting the canopy on since the cowl is being stretched so much.

As an aside, comparing the Angel S to the Extreme Flight Extra 300 since I am using the same powerplant, the Angel S wing panels/wing tube combined are actually 1.4 ozs lighter. The Angel S wing panels are bigger to boot.
My cowl is not tight, there is room for the canopy to slide in at a slight angle before dropping into place. The canopy slides under perhaps 3/8" - 1/2", no issues with clearance since I held the cowl tight against the bottom of the fuse when mounting...
