I have the simulator I bought it after my 3rd crash

But in all honesty I have only used it about 4 times and have flown my axe cp about 20 times with about 2 good crashes and 3 minors.
I find with the axe cp that if you put those plastic blades on non-symmetrical they are very touchy and responsive compared to the wood symmetrical that I am used to, since I put the plastic ones on I have been accident prone and have clipped my tail boom/blade grips/Flybar Carrier with the blade coming down back end first a little too fast but suprisingly enough the blades even though are damaged still work the same, but they are just so much more responsive then the wood ones that came with it.
However I do fly my axe cp almost every day so the plastic ones are a way cheaper, and would probably help me learn faster being more responsive they sure do hover better then the wood symmetrical blades.
