I agree direct injection is better , but current technology and price excludes it from our use, what modeler is going to pay $2000 or more for a model diesel ?

Further to our previouse low/no ether fuel discussion , it apears that Gordon Burford of Taipan fame was useing low/no ether fuel with vegitable oil lube back in the late 80s in his competion Old Timmer models to get longer engine runs from the alocated fuel, for the article go to Peter Burfords website and follow the links to Gordons PDF articles.
