Hey there guys. I have just finished my build of the 3D Hot Hots from the short kit. The build thread is [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6707116/tm.htm]Here[/link]. I was getting her balanced and ended up with the CG at 26% MAC. This should be a safe starting point was my thought and I can go back from there. 25% or so for the maiden is my normal routine. I was looking at the plans before I put them away, and noticed the CG mark was far more forward than I had expected. I measured it and it is between 22-23% MAC. This seems very nose heavy, to me, for a plane of this type. Does anyone have an Idea why it would be so far forward? I usually end up in the 27-29% range on my sport planesand am at 31% on my last design befiore the Hots. Thanks in advance for your your help.
