RE: Cermark Pitts Build/Assembly
The 120 ax is a really nice fit. Vertical is maybe not unlimited but sure is close. Today was my first flight and all was good until the motor died due to losing tank pressure. The muffler had been in a prior nose over and broke both stingers. They were JB welded back and that was where I made the mistake to use it. The stingers came loose in flight thus the tank pressure issue. I had no chance of getting in back to the runway so I landed in a field nearby. Fortunately the only damage was to the landing gear. The ply that the landing gear is mounted to is unbelievably light. It needs to be beefed up before anyone attempts to fly the Cermark.
