If you're converting to glow, you don't need the flywheel. Once the flywheel is removed, the only thing interfering with a back mounting plate would be the crankshaft extension on the back end. The Zenoah factory plate has a lightening hole that clears the shaft, so you can do the same.

Depending on what comes equipped with the goped engine, you might have to buy a prop adaptor also. I assume you have that bit worked out already.
