Thanks guys, funny thing is we ran the 25cc Homey at the field to demo for the Sunday crowd (they were impressed!) and it seemed to run just about as well with the glow off as on. I have found with this particular engine a noticable improvement without the copper washer under the glow plug. I dont know if the plug runs hotter or what, but the idle is better without it. I may not need batteries after all!
