Default RE: Homeless Saito 100

Saito 100 is a bit heavy for it's displacement, but IMHO the Venus II will work very well with your motor.....the Venus II is designed for the servos in the tail and seems to balance well with the Saito 125's and YS110's. In addition, the Venus II is a light, very well built, well designed plane.

I recently assembled one for my dad with a YS110, servos on the tail. It came out about 8-1/2 lbs (fantastic!!). The only mods were to move the tank back to the CG, paint out the clear canopy (silver), used Radio South Pro-hinges and it looks and performs like ot should.

I was impressed with the small details like the clear paint at the pointed tips of the covering trim, decent hardware included, spinner included...etc.

Plus if you pay attention for coupon codes (search google for coupon codes and find one) you can get $20 or $30 off the already bargain price.

Other 60-120 sized planes would also do well on this motor, but I have no experience with them...
