are those deans plugs on there so my understanding of this using my incredible naval aviation electricity knowledge would be battery going to switch then right to reciver power inputs with no regs on the A123 batteries this may very well be the way to go seems very simple
On the AR9100 they are not Deans, they are called EC3. They are round 3.5mm barrel shaped connectors that are commonly used on high current electric motors. They can be purchased from Horizon, or me, or in bulk from MPI. They are very nice connectors and will certainly do the job.
As an update, I spoke with Horizon today and the AR9100 is in stock and shipping, I will have my first ones in a few days. With luck I'll be able to flight test it this weekend.
