Pusher motors on Micro electric model
I scratch build micro electric models using the 2-engines from RTF models.
( differential throttle for steering method)
I have been converting these motors to "pullers"
and mounting them on the wing lead-edge;as
opposed the trailing edge as they are out of the box.
I do it this way to get the center of gravity far enough forward,
but have found these models do
not turn nearly as quick as the RTF models.
Are motors at the back are more effective for turning?
Or is it because my models have proper wing airfoils?
Do you get more thrust with the motors at the trailing edge?
