Gidday again fellas, well I'm finally making my own fuel. A friend who no longer races sidecars gave me about 15 liters of BP meth (good mate aye). I purchased 5 liters of Castrol M for $66 and a 500 ml can of acetone for $ 6.90. I mix it to Downunder's recipe of 20% castor, 3% acetone and the remainder methanol (Downunder, does BP meth have acetone in it?) It might be just in me head but I reckon my engine runs and sounds better. I have another question now. What's the difference in the manufacturing process of methanol and ethanol?
