RE: GP Patriot 40 Kit Build
I got everything done and installed except the battery. Currently it weighs 6lbs 9ozs. This seems kind of heavy to me. What weights are typical for this plane?
I just need to install the battery and balance, then I should be ready to test fly. Everything works great. All surfaces move perfectly, and the gear are flawless. I think the covering scheme should be easy to see once it gets airborne. This has been a challenging kit. I just hope the performance is just as impressive.
