I`ll look at the TX some more tonight and post if I find anything else.
Comparing readings might be in order.
This is some initial values I found:
The voltage across my battery (Vbat) was ~10V. So if your voltage is higher (or lower), you values will be slightly different.
I clipped on to the gnd on the back of the charger jack (black), and poked around. See the first picture for some voltage values.
One of the more important ones is the antenna (ant). Is there voltage there?
Also check your potentiometers (pots). See the second picture.
All of the white leads should be ground.
All of the red leads should be 5V
All if the black leads (sig) should vary from 0-5V (approximately) when you wiggle the sticks.
Dknovick,
I had to work late last night (Ntwk issues) and did not have time to poke around with the TX. I`ll get on it tonight and compare against your readings and let you know what I find.
Thanks for all the info.
dknovick,
I followed your post and came up with pretty much that same readings that you did after I installed some fresh batteries.. I ended up just chunking the whole thing in a box. On the flip side my new TX should be here today so with a little luck I might get to do some flying tonight. YEA!!!
Thanks for all your help.
