really, i use the venom failsafe with alkaline batteries and have no problem, i dont use the one with temp gauge on it, those are no good.
Venom and Ofna were the only ones they had listed that would work with alkaline's according to the tech section
BUT I fitted my Monte Carlo stock car body on my Tsunami today and ran it-looks great-so 4 cars all with stock car bodies on them <G>
