Default RE: Evolution 58 vs DA-50

In RC, mid-range has always been the most difficult place for both glows and gassers. And it could be the engine, it could be the carb, it could be the modeler not knowing how to set a gasser just right. I've gathered from the posts that the DA50s require being run a little richer during break-in, and you're not going to be able to avoid gurgle during a rich phase of break-in. Not just with the DAs either. Gas or glow, you can break and engne in fast or slow, and slow is always better, and in most cases richer is better. In the end, might as well say that PATIENCE is better, because that is what is required to take the time and the trouble to make sure your engine lives a long life.
