Default RE: Using a Futaba TX w/ the cp pro

ORIGINAL: mosiris

ok,
Don't laugh at my ignorance and crappy TX for my gasser
Was wondering if I could use my Futaba T6XH in my cppro by just changing the crystal in the stock Rx or would I have to do something more elaborate ? Granted the T6XH (as I have been told (like 4-5 years ago when I was using it to learn how to hover the raptor) is a entry (crap) radio, I would think it's better than the TX that comes w/ the pro if only for the fact it has expo

I called my LHS and they said something like neg shift and pos shift.

Also I have a JR g410t gyro that is brand new in the box, could I put this on the pro as well, or would it prolly be too heavy ? I would think if I took the Futaba GY240 off the raptor and tried to install it on the pro, I might run into probs as well.

Thanks in advance

Hi Mosiris,

You can use the Futaba T6XH for your CP-Pro. I use the same TX for my CPs. You just need to make sure you use a Futaba Short crystal (or compatible) (Single Conversion) on the same channel as your TX, in the RX.

Hope that helps.
