RE: the official kyosho haf 8 electric and 09 mini inferno thread .
discgolferlee did you get your Hyper 7 new or used? I know my Hyper 8 when new the diffs where somewhat tight and after they ware in a little they where fine. I am sure this is the case with the 09. Many after break in change the diff oil just to get the metal shavings out that you get during break in. I all so know my Hyper 8 has a tight spot on the spur and after 9 plus gallons still has it. I just set the mesh on the tight spot and notice the 09 is the same. This has even been talked about on the Ofna forums. Keep in mind everything has to wear in and I do not think this is a problem. I have been told that the 09 diffs come with grease just like on of the diffs on my Hyper 8 pro and I will change this shortly. I now have about 8 tanks of fuel on mine and it is screaming.
