It was so fast in vertical that I had to back off for fear of flutter, no kidding. It literally looks like it was shot out of a gun, it climbs so fast you won't believe it.

My point in making the post is that from a weight and performance standpoint its a great engine to use, its definitely not too heavy. But it is literally a rocket so you have to stay off the throttle unless you are going straight up and even then you have to be smart. It handles normally in 3D flight and you can do most of your stuff at 1/4-1/2 throttle. It landed with the engine ticking over very slowly and slowed down nicely for some pretty harrier landings.

Something else. This plane is even tougher than I realized. Today while I was working on tuning the engine died on me several times and the plane just fell to the ground as far as 10-12 feet. Each time it just bounced on the landing gear and sat quietly. No damage. This is the toughest airframe I have ever seen. [8D]
