I got seriously in to RC in my forties and bashed for about 6 or 7 years. I got so bored bashing I started selling my stuff off. They open a small track near me and got in to racing in a big way. They closed the little local track and I started traveling around Georgia just so I could race. We started a RC club and now have one of the largest tracks on the east coast but I will still be traveling to go to other races. I hope in a couple of years when my grandson gets a little older he will enjoy it as much as I do.

A couple of years ago I started figuring how much I had in the hobby and quite counting a $11,000 and now I have put much more in it since. I have 20 some RC cars and trucks.
