Default RE: Badius Owners Club III

Pat good for you, that worked out for both of you

I just got back from a wonderfull set of flights, I started off with the formosa, and as I figured it's a lot slower now but I think I can change the prop and cure that, but it flew flawless as always I think I ended up flying 6 packs through it while I was out.

Then the SU-27,,,, OH MAN did I almost MESS UP... I put the batts in and fired it up gave it a good toss and right as it grabbed enough air to lift it totaly vertical and completely nuts [X(] I fought it dancing on it's tail while trying to get it into position to let it land, I could keep it level long enough to gain any speed to land on so I just let it get to the point where I could nose it over cut throttle and land it all at the same time,,, guys it was a text book harier landing, I was shaking so bad I thought I was going to break the TX antenna

I walk over and pick it up and look and I can't believe I had forgot to put the 3rd batt in it
so in the 3rd batt goes and away she flys
I have got to take the time to install seperate servo's for the ailerons, it's becoming a pain because it doesn't always center back after a turn

Next up was the Magister,,,,, NOT [] I hook everything up and the motor is just twitching and not arming properly, I pull the batts out and check the wires and she runs right up and sounds great, put the batts back in and it starts twitching again [:@]
Well after messing with it for a few min I found it, I had a wire from the ESC broke or pulled apart at the solder joint to the motor,,, at least it was something simple

All in All it was a fantastic day of flying

Well got to get to soldering and charging batts
