Doug, I too am starting to get a little burned-out. Here's most all dry assembled. Cheeks are next. My air compressor went "south". So I need to go buy another [ to blow off the balsa ] So that's holding me up covering the plane. Yes, that is a novel way of attaching the cowl, with wood screws into the firewall. Uh.... er,.... would blind nuts behind the firewall be more secure ?. Could wood screws loosen up from vibration ?. MM
