Are those lion or li-poly packs your using to power the ignition and how much current are you using.Are you using any voltage regulator to drop the voltage down to 4.8-5 volts.
We use Li-Po 3 cells (11.1 V). But any kind of battery range from 10 to 12 volt would work. The system draws about 350 milliamp. No voltage regulator.
