Default RE: Angel S EVO Build Thread

Hi Joe,

Did you had a chance to fly this set up yet? I am looking at the same motor/ESC combo to go with 5S on this plane, and your input would be a great help in the final decision.

TIA,
Kevin

Just doing some preliminary fitting, I noticed that the cowl has a very tight fit. Question I have is, does the cowl fit over the canopy front lip, butted against it or underneath? It appears to be over the top of the canopy front lip in the manual. How much of an overlap should there roughly be? With such a tight fit, I am wondering whether there will be any issues putting the canopy on since the cowl is being stretched so much.

As an aside, comparing the Angel S to the Extreme Flight Extra 300 since I am using the same powerplant, the Angel S wing panels/wing tube combined are actually 1.4 ozs lighter. The Angel S wing panels are bigger to boot.
