RE: ENYA .50 ringed
I discovered this AM that the Enya .50 had soft compression, on turning the engine over I heard a leak. It turned out to be a leaking center post seal on a black generic plug whose origin I have no clue. It's the second one to which that has happened. On re-running the engine I could get 12,550 for about 30 seconds, the engine is almost new The pic. is one click rich from the peak. The engine pictured is an Enya .45 SS in which I installed a new ring. The original owner broke the ring being curious. A comment about the MDS muffler, it is from a .58, it is baffled and gives the Enya .50 and .45Ss a nice deep powerful sound as opposed to the high pitched snarl of the stockers.
The new reading on the .50CXTN was taken using a Fox standard non idlebar plug.
