I'm surprised to see American jet flyers interested in 'sensible' size trailers. Other threads on the subject seem to degenerate into the bigger is better, he who has the 22 foot dual axle pulled by the 8 litre turbo diesel truck is the winner sort of deal.
Gas will likeley be $4 US a gallon by summer. Keeping to a small trailer will generate more $'s to buy stuff to put in it. I'm like Dom, I don't fly more than 1 or 2 planes at a given jet event and with my son's airplane, that's 3, so a 5X8 is plenty big and I store the other ones in my garage. I get about 17 MPG with my trailer behind my Vue, and that's not too bad...
